Cherokee County offers lower property taxes than neighboring Fulton County as well as lower home prices.  Cherokee County has seen it’s share of newly developed townhome communities recently and it’s popularity continues to grow.  Located in the Northern portion of Greater Metro Atlanta next to the mountains of Georgia.  In fact, Cherokee County’s website slogan is “Where the Metro meets the Mountains”.  Downtown Woodstock is a popular destination nowadays for concerts, fine dining, and nightlife.
